INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1: Insert Case Guide into the die body
Step 2: Screw the hold down tip into the shaft about half-way. Use threadlocker on the threads. This will prevent the tip from backing out of the shaft, which can cause problems. Use a 3/16" wrench to hold the flats of the shaft and snug the pin into place. Vice shaft with rubber grips to prevent scarring of the shaft. Do not overtighten into the shaft – just snug it. The threadlocker will do the rest.
Step 3: Drop the shaft into the die threaded insert. place the long spring over the shaft. Screw the threaded insert with shaft into the die body.
Step 4: Place the shaft expander on top of the shaft. Place the spring on top. Screw the cap into place and tighten.
*ensure the proper spring and o-ring is assembled for priming operation. When swaging, use the same top spring as the decapping die includes.
Step 5: Turn the die down into the tool head.
Step 6: Lower the die over a case. Turn about 1/4 of a turn down. Lock the die down. All set to go!
